How long does coverage last?
It is designed to provide health insurance on a temporary
basis to fill a temporary need. This policy is nonrenewable
beyond the initial term. You may elect coverage from
a minimum of 30 to a maximum of 180 days, in monthly
or daily increments.
When will coverage be effective?
For faxed applications coverage will begin at 12:01
a.m. the day after a faxed application is received,
provided the original application and first premium
payment are postmarked within 24 hours of the fax date.
Otherwise, coverage will be effective at 12:01 a.m.
the day after the application and premium check are
received.
Who is eligible?
- U.S. residents between the ages of 18 and 59 1/2
who can meet the underwriting requirements.
- Child only coverage is not available.
- Full-time students between the ages of 19 and 24
may be carried as a dependent on their parent's policy.
